芭蕉ではなく「場所」

　id:noharra:20070703:p1 で山口さんが紹介していた「Basho the Sumo Wrestler」（写真下）を取り上げているけど、id:noharra さんは一つ大きな勘違いをしている。

Basho the Sumo Wrestler を販売している Design Toscano のサイトによると、

　「芭蕉」には tournament という意味はない。すなわち、このスモウレスラーの名前は「芭蕉」ではなく「場所」なのであった！

　その他のバッジは本家サイトにあります。どうやら Paypal は日本語でも使えるようになったようです。
　ちなみに、Design Toscano の店舗に山口さんと一緒に出かけて、一番気に入ったのは癒し系の青い鳥。
